Alvarez RD20S12 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, 12 String

Alvarez RD20S12 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, 12 String Review

This is a great twelve string guitar, especially considering it costs well under other guitars in its class. The solid spruce looks really nice and the neck was designed to be playable even though it is wider. It feels like an electric guitar neck almost. The action is really playable in the original setting, but could stand to be lowered a bit, for my taste. What inspired me to get a 12 was when I played a Taylor at my local shop. After careful searching I found this model was one of the closest to the Taylor. The strap buttons and tuners seem of questionable quality, but will certainly last for years to come. Everything else is top notch. Get one before you can't find them anymore!!!!

Alvarez RD20S12 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, 12 String Feature

• Dreadnought Body Style 12 String
• Mahogany Back/Sides
• Solid Spruce Top
• Rosewood Fingerboard
• Chrome Die-Cast Tuning Machines

Oscar Schmidt by Washburn OG312CE Full Size 12 String Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar Combo with AB Stand and Strings - Tobacco Sunburst

Oscar Schmidt by Washburn OG312CE Full Size 12 String Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar Combo with AB Stand and Strings - Tobacco Sunburst Review

The guitar was shipped within a day of me ordering it and it got here only 5 days later including a Sunday:) I was very happy to get it fast! As soon as I picked it up I fell in love with it. It plays easier than my 6-string.

I am still trying to figure out the built-in tuner... I just have this complete inability to tune a guitar easily. Now I don't know if this was just my own idiocy (probably was) but I already snapped the E string second from the bottom trying to tune it. Got a nice sore on my hand too. I feel terrible for being so careless! So I recommend buying an extra set of strings while you are at it! I don't think it was the quality of the strings, I think it was just me...

Once I get it stringed and tuned all the way you won't be able to pry it from my arms!!! :)

Oscar Schmidt by Washburn OG312CE Full Size 12 String Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar Combo with AB Stand and Strings - Tobacco Sunburst Feature

• Handcrafted quality

Oscar Schmidt by Washburn OG312CE Full Size 12 String Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar Combo with AB Stand and Strings - Tobacco Sunburst Overview

The OG312CE is a 12 string dreadnought with a cutaway for easy upper fret access. Its great action makes it one of the easiest playing 12 strings around. The WT92 Preamp/Tuner brings out the full lush & chiming sound of all 12 strings through any PA or amp.
